🎨Getting Started: Creator Mode

As a Premium member, you'll find Creator Mode in your account menu. This is your hub for managing all your games.

From Creator Mode you can:

  • View all your created games at a glance
  • See how many times each game has been played
  • Check which games have been favourited by others
  • Enable or disable games
  • Edit existing games or create new ones
  • Monitor the sharing and approval status of your games

🆕Creating a New Game

Each game consists of three rounds (Easy, Medium, Hard), and each round has four tiles. That's 12 tiles in total to design.

For each tile, you'll need to provide:

  • A label — the word players will say out loud
  • A visual — an image, colour, or text that represents the word

The game works best when words within each round sound similar (like "cat", "hat", "bat") to create that fun challenge of speaking the right word on the beat! But throwing in a non-rhyming word on the hard level can really throw people off!

Don't worry about the order - the game engine takes care of which images are shown and in what sequence during gameplay.

🖼️Tile Options: Four Ways to Create Visuals

You have four different ways to create the visual for each tile:

📤 Upload an Image

Upload your own images from your device. Great for personal photos, downloaded images, or anything specific you have in mind. Uploaded images are saved to your own private Image Library for reuse in other games.

🤖 AI Image Generation

Let AI create an image based on your label. Choose between Real (photorealistic) or Cartoon styles. AI-generated images use credits from your AI Credits balance. Each generation costs 1 credit, which also applies to regenerations if you're not happy with the first result.

AI images are also saved to your Image Library for future use.

🎨 Colour Tiles

Perfect for simple concepts! Choose a colour from the palette to fill the entire tile. Great for games about colours, moods, or abstract concepts. Colour tiles are created specifically for each game and aren't saved to your Image Library.

✏️ Text Tiles

Display custom text on the tile instead of an image. Customise the font, size, style (bold, italic, underline), text colour, and background colour. Useful for numbers, letters, symbols, or short words. Like colour tiles, text tiles are specific to each game.

💎Understanding AI Credits

AI image generation is powered by FLUX and requires AI Credits. These are separate from your Premium subscription.

  • Each AI image generation uses 1 credit
  • If you regenerate (don't accept the first image), that also uses 1 credit
  • Credits can be purchased in bundles from the AI Credits page
  • Your credit balance is shown in the game creator
  • Credits don't expire while your Premium subscription is active

You can always use uploaded images, colour tiles, or text tiles at no additional cost — AI generation is simply an option for convenience.

📚Your Image Library

All images you upload or generate with AI are saved to your personal Image Library.

  • Access your library when creating or editing any game
  • Reuse the same image across multiple games
  • Filter by image type (uploaded vs AI-generated)
  • Delete images you no longer need that are not in use on any game

✏️Editing Your Games

Made a mistake or want to improve your game? No problem! From Creator Mode, click the edit button on any of your games to make changes.

  • Update labels or swap out visuals
  • Switch tile types (e.g., change an image to a colour tile)

Note: If your game has already been approved for sharing, editing it will send it back for review before it can be shared again.

🔘Enabling and Disabling Games

You have full control over which of your games are active:

  • Enabled — Your game can be played (by you, via link, or publicly depending on sharing settings)
  • Disabled — Your game is hidden and can't be played by anyone, including you

This is useful if you want to temporarily hide a game while you work on improvements, or simply take a break from sharing it.

🔗Sharing Your Games

Once you've created a game, you have three sharing options:

🔒 Private

Only you can see and play your game. Perfect for testing or personal use. No moderation required.

🔗 Link Share

Anyone with the direct link can play your game. It won't appear in the public lobby, but you can share the URL with friends, family, or on social media. Requires moderation approval before the link becomes active to ensure all games are family friendly.

🌍 Community

Your game appears in the main lobby for everyone to discover and play. This is the best way to share your creation with the entire community. Requires moderation approval.

The Moderation Process

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all players, games must be reviewed before they can be shared publicly or via link.

How it works:

  • Submit your game for review from Creator Mode
  • An admin will review all 12 tiles for appropriate content
  • If approved, your game becomes available for sharing
  • If changes are needed, you'll receive feedback and can resubmit

While waiting for approval, you can still play your game privately. The review process helps keep the community fun and welcoming for everyone.

💡Tips for Great Games

  • Use rhyming words - Words that sound similar create the best challenge
  • Keep labels short - One or two syllable words work best for the beat
  • Choose clear visuals - Players need to recognise images quickly
  • Test your game - Play through it yourself before sharing
  • Increase difficulty gradually - Easy round should be genuinely easy!
  • Have a theme - Themed games (animals, food, colours) are popular
